Return of the Canadian chanteuses

DJs and television music departments must be licking their lips right now. Sarah is going to be releasing her first album of new material since Surfacing next Tuesday. After hearing remix after remix of Building a Mystery, Sweet Surrender, and Hold On; and having a tear jerked out of my eye with I Will Remember You being played in every second television season finale, it will be refreshing to hear her voice with some new music and lyrics.

She IS the classiest of the recent gang of Canadian stars turned moms that are returning to their art. Don't expect to see her doing Vegas or giving a way too perky "Hey, Vancouver/Calgary/Winnipeg/etc!" (lift arms to reveal midriff) anytime soon.
