Don't let the dinosaurs into the deep end of the pool

Research at the University of Calgary has shown that a modified respiratory system that included balloon-like air sacs could have allowed some dinosaurs to float. When they could reach the bottom with their front legs, they could propel themselves along. However, if they couldn't reach the bottom, they could have tipped over and not been able to right themselves.
