Nicotini

This is insane! For the smoker that doesn't want to step outside for to satisfy their addiction, they can now have their nicotine fix via a martini.

A quick look into a pharmacology text shows that the fatal dose of nicotine is only 40 mg (= 1 drop of pure nicotine). Heck, the stuff is used in insecticides! Smoking limits the amount of nicotine that reaches the systemic system by either burning the chemical or cause it to leave via the second-hand smoke. With the risk of serious toxic side effects such as CNS stimulation, convulsions, respiratory arrest, and cardiac arrythmias, I sure wouldn't want to have to rely on my bartender to mix them light if I was out for the evening.
