Main Street ups and downs

I was sad to see that the Starry Dynamo Cafe was serving its last coffees and teas this evening. There was no better place where you could sit down at a sewing machine table, sip a great chai latte, and catch a little bit of evening jazz.

On a happier note, I was happy to see that the Montmartre Cafe (Le Cafe Parisien), a little bit further up the block, was packed for this evening's show. If you get a chance, I highly recommend both Jeremy Fisher's solo show and a stop by the Montmartre, either together or separately. (And if you want to show others how uber-cool you are, study up the lyrics to the Bob Dylan standards before you get out to be in the audience for Jeremy's shows.)
